Kentucky Standards History
Kentucky Common Core State Standards were adopted February 10, 2010 by the Kentucky Department of Education with full implementation in the 2011-12 school year. Kentucky was the first state to implement the standards. It was recently repealed in February of 2017.
Kentucky Assessment History
Kentucky officially joined the PARCC Testing Consortium in 2010. In February 2014 Kentucky withdrew from PARCC testing.
