New Hampshire Common Core Standards were adopted July 13, 2010 by the New Hampshire State Board of Education with full implementation in the 2014-15 school year. Some districts in New Hampshire are piloting the Performance Assessment for Competency Education (PACE) program in grades 3-11.

New Hampshire officially joined and is currently a governing state in the SMARTER Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC).
