Louisiana Standards History
Louisiana formally adopted the standards in 2011, but delayed full implementation for two years in November 2013. Testing was implemented for the 2014-2015 school year. In March of 2016 the legislature adopted a new set of standards to replace Common Core, called the Louisiana Academic Standards.

Louisiana uses a hybrid PARCC/custom state assessment testing.
