Washington D.C. Standards History
The District of Columbia Common Core State Standards were formally adopted July 22, 2010, by the DC State Board of Education with full implementation in the 2012-2013 school year. The District of Columbia's implementation is noteworthy for the speed and investment it made in the Standards.
